Once again, the traditional Epiphany Cake brought club members together in a warm and friendly atmosphere. As tradition dictates, whoever finds the lucky charm becomes king or queen for the day and may choose their Queen or Prince Consort.

The committee members looked particularly focused during the presentation of the annual report. Rest assured, the accounts are healthy and firmly in the black! Smiles soon returned… especially as the moment of the aperitif drew closer.

Thanks to Dominique, we had the pleasure of visiting the Museum of Popular Imagery in Épinal. The visit offered a fascinating journey into the history of popular printmaking and its dialogue with contemporary art. Opened in 2003, the museum houses one of Europe’s largest collections of printed imagery, with more than 110,000 works dating from the 17th century to the present day.

If memory serves, this was the very first gathering of American classics in Soultzmatt. Enthusiasts turned out in great numbers, and glorious sunshine helped make the event a real success.

This year, the Corvette Club Hessen visited our region. The programme included a visit to the Automobile Museum in Mulhouse, participation in the Fun Car Show with its evening concert, and on Sunday a scenic drive along the famous Route des Crêtes.

The weather had a surprise in store for us. In the Alsatian Vosges, dense fog reduced visibility to little more than twenty metres, creating a rather unique atmosphere. Fortunately, it did nothing to dampen the group’s spirits.

Beautiful sunshine, superb roads and a fantastic atmosphere – all the ingredients were there for a truly enjoyable and sociable club outing.

As every year, a delegation from CCFE travelled to Switzerland to attend Super Corvette Sunday. A unique opportunity to admire the evolution of the Corvette, from C1 to C8, alongside rare and exceptional models only seen at this unmissable event.

Every first Sunday of September, CCFE opens its doors to the public to share its passion for the Corvette. It has now become a must-attend event for all American performance car enthusiasts.

A morning display of our V8 cars followed by an excellent lunch among friends. A day fully dedicated to automotive passion and good company.

Autumn temperatures were very much present during this drive through the Black Forest. A gentle cruise, with tyres struggling to reach their ideal operating temperature…

The Corvette season draws to a close. The cars are tucked away under their covers for a well-deserved winter rest until spring, while members continue to meet over a good meal to share memories and prepare for the next season.
