The Annual General Meeting gives members the opportunity each year to learn about the life of the Club and to ask questions directly to the Committee. This meeting is intended to be open and constructive.

Along with the CORVETTE DAY, the Annual General Meeting is one of the key events of the CCFE. While Corvette Day allows us to open our doors to the general public and make many people’s dream come true through a ride in a Corvette, the Annual General Meeting gives members the opportunity to stay informed about Club activities, ask questions, and apply for positions on the Committee.

For the 2018 session, Jean-Claude Schmitt, President of the Corvette Club France Est, opened the meeting by thanking all members in attendance.

It was also an opportunity to look back on the highlights of the year and to thank all the organizers of the approximately twenty outings and events held during the previous year.

We also took this opportunity to thank all the members whose contributions, large or small, help the CCFE continue to exist. Naturally, we did not forget our sponsors, nor the municipality of Pulversheim for providing a meeting hall throughout the year.

The Club Treasurer, Catherine Schmitt, together with the auditors, then presented the association’s financial report.

Finally, the provisional schedule of outings and events for the coming year was presented. Before closing the meeting and moving on to the buffet, our webmaster shared some statistics relating to our website and Facebook page.

The American Day organized by PASSION BECANE was a tremendous success in its very first year!

Visitors and exhibitors quickly depleted the stocks of sausages and merguez!

This Car & Brunch event attracted a large crowd and an impressive variety of sports and prestige cars. Nevertheless, American cars were by far the most numerous. :-)

Needless to say, the organization was flawless, and this stay in the Périgord will leave unforgettable memories for all participants.

As every year, the Fun Car Show brought together an impressive number of American vehicles.

Once again, members who were not participating in the Périgord tour attended this event.

Year after year, the story remains the same! In 2018, Blandine and Jean-Denis were once again the only French representatives among the approximately 270 teams present in Suhl.

This was a pleasant outing in the Taennchel Massif area.

The beautiful roads were ideally suited to the torque of our V8 engines, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable cruise.

The warm welcome, panoramic views, and meal at Restaurant La Meunière all contributed greatly to the success of the day.

It can confidently be said that the first edition of the Mulhouse Classic Vehicle Festival was a success.

It was particularly successful for the Corvette Club France Est, for whom this event was also a first. Under the leadership of Henry-Paul and David, the project took shape thanks to the involvement of other CCFE members.

Among the 1,000 vehicles on display, three magnificent Corvettes from the CCFE proudly occupied their stand and attracted a knowledgeable audience.

Our enthusiasts took turns maintaining a continuous presence and answering the many questions asked by visitors.

All participants agreed that this outing was not only perfectly organized but also excellent in every respect:

• Choice of roads
• Choice of coffee stop
• Choice of restaurant
• Choice of visit

Our friends from the Territoire de Belfort, whose natural good humor is legendary within the CCFE, organized an outing in their region for the second consecutive year.

After breakfast in Joncherey, Denis and Marie-Odile led the group on a scenic cruise through the Jura Mountains around Grammont.

Pin-up girls, a rock concert, Corvettes, and many other beautiful American cars contributed to the success of the day.

Of course, CHEMANCO energized the crowd with its hit song “ROCK ZICKE ZACKE”.

This year we were kept extremely busy due to the record attendance we experienced!

Under Mulhouse’s blue skies, Trident welcomed a wave of Corvettes.

The unmistakable sound of our V8 engines left a lasting impression on enthusiasts and visitors alike. :-)

More than one person must have thought: “I want a VETTE!”

This year there was no ADAC GT Masters championship title for Corvette, but a victory in Saturday’s race and an impressive comeback to finish 7th on Sunday provided plenty to celebrate.

La Grange à Bécanes is part of Raymond Lemoine’s collection. Jean-Claude presented the CCFE pennant to Raymond, who honored us with his presence during our visit.

As every year, a relaxed weekend in the Black Forest to bring the season to a close.

Here are the lucky participants who were able to visit the Bugatti factory in Molsheim.

Naturally, no photographs were permitted inside the Bugatti facilities.

Under Monique’s guidance, it was time for carp and fries at Glockabrunna!

Between the Epiphany cake and birthday celebrations, there is always something to raise a glass to during the monthly members’ meeting.

A Stammtisch is a great restaurant gathering among Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, and other American V8 enthusiasts...
