On behalf of all the members who attended, I would like to thank you for your perfect invitation – and that is no exaggeration. Not only was the Epiphany cake excellent, but you also treated us to a gourmet Italian buffet that I can still taste today… and which was not even on the original program!

Many thanks to your wife and your team for making this evening such a success. It will remain one of those memorable events we will not soon forget.

It was truly a wonderful and enjoyable moment!

Looking forward to seeing you again and perhaps doing some business together...

For this first meeting of the CCFE members, everyone gathered at the premises of CH8AUTOS in Rixheim following Christophe’s kind invitation.

The members present received the CCFE 2016 Activities Book as well as their 2017 Membership Card.

The President and Committee Members presented the Club’s financial situation, a review of the previous year’s outings and events, and the provisional schedule for the 2017 activities and trips.

A small CCFE delegation attended the Geneva Motor Show.

Henry-Paul, to whom the "Grand Sport" fits like a glove, David, our Vice-President, and Philippe.

Thank you, gentlemen, for the photos and for sharing the dream that comes with them...

Several CCFE members attended both as visitors and exhibitors.

Jean-Pierre, the organizer of the day, invited us to Dorlisheim.

All Corvette generations from the C4 to the C7 were represented, along with the guests of honor: a Porsche and a Ferrari.

This was followed by a cruising drive to Marlenheim.

Sport shooting session

The Territoire de Belfort is small, covering only 609 km², but contrary to popular belief, it is not the smallest department in France. Paris, for example, covers only 105 km².

During the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, while the French army had already surrendered to the Prussians, Belfort resisted a siege for 103 days and was never defeated.

The people of Belfort preserved the honor of France and laid down their arms only on the orders of the Governor of National Defense, who arrived in Belfort on February 18, 1871.

After the defeat, France was forced to cede Alsace and Lorraine to Prussia, but the Territoire de Belfort remained French.

Now you know why it is best not to underestimate our friends from Belfort – they never give up.

The Lion of Belfort, wounded and roaring, still commemorates this fierce resistance against the enemy.

Our friends from the American Crazy Family organized a rally on May 21, 2017, along the roads of Alsace and Germany.

Several CCFE members had the opportunity to participate.

From May 25 to 27, 2017, Monique and Denis attended the Viper gathering and brought back an extensive photo report.

The Z06, with its 7-liter engine and 512 horsepower, had to be brought out to match the Vipers' 8-liter-and-above V10 engines.

This was the must-attend event of 2017!

Cruising, sightseeing, champagne breakfasts, gourmet meals, dancing dinners...

Everything was there to make this trip one that would be remembered for years to come.

As every year, the Fun Car Show brought together a very large number of automotive enthusiasts.

In 2017, the event gathered:

• 257 Corvettes
• 2 C1s
• 9 C2s
• 13 C3s
• 20 C4s
• 70 C5s
• 98 C6s
• 45 C7s

Participants came from Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Denmark, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and France.

The Corvette Club France Est is committed to openness and building relationships with other clubs.

This year, in cooperation with the Corvette Club de France, we organized a visit to the:

Grand Prix de l’Âge d’Or

This annual event is well known among automotive enthusiasts.

For younger generations, it is an opportunity to discover the legendary race cars of the past, while older visitors can relive memories of their youth.

A wonderful outing to Bust this Sunday, perfectly organized by “Bouge à Bust.”

Attention!

According to local legends, witches once haunted the village of Thannenkirch in search of easy prey.

But that was long ago!

Since witch hunts have disappeared, you can safely venture into the village for the Firefighters’ Rally, which attracts an impressive number of classic vehicles every year.

After coffee and croissants, participants set off on an 80-kilometer drive through the Vosges Mountains.

Back in Thannenkirch, everyone enjoyed an aperitif and a static vehicle display, where a jury rewarded the most beautiful “four-wheeled grandmother.”

18,000 visitors attended Saverne American Day!

A magnificent day!

Around 100 American cars and twice as many motorcycles were the main attraction.

The parade through the town, with roaring engines, created a truly unique spectacle.

With temperatures approaching 30°C (86°F) in the shade, beer flowed freely.

Rock music blasting at full volume, the soundtrack of our youth, captivated both young and old.

The Corvette Club was well represented and officially thanked over the public address system.

That was the amount raised for the Téléthon charity through Corvette passenger rides provided by our members during Corvette Day 2017.

The Swiss Corvette Club International visited Alsace.

Starting in March 2009, a group of friends passionate about cars began meeting in the TRIDENT parking lot in Mulhouse every second Sunday of the month.

Through word of mouth, what started as a gathering of around forty vehicles grew into a must-attend event for automotive and motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the Mulhouse region.

Featured vehicles include:

• Classic cars
• Youngtimers
• Sports and prestige cars
• Motorcycles

Everyone gathers in a friendly atmosphere and good spirits.

On sunny Sundays, parking space becomes scarce.

For the final weekend of the ADAC GT Masters championship, a small CCFE delegation attended the event.

The Callaway Competition Corvette GT3-R finished first overall in the ADAC GT Masters Championship.

A true institution within Corvette Club France Est:

the Black Forest outing, which traditionally closes the season, weather permitting.

This trip is not really designed for those who worry about gaining a few pounds.

Because:

• Beer flows freely.
• Wurstsalat is served in abundance.
• Aperitifs appear around every corner.
• Good humor accompanies it all.

But make no mistake:

As soon as the V8 engines start up, responsibility and moderation prevail.

Sunday morning is dedicated to the traditional Aperitif Drive.

The monthly members’ meeting is an opportunity to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions, or simply to enjoy a drink while talking about V8 engines.

Several times a year, the Stammtisch allows members to gather for a good meal and friendly conversation.
